We had a great turn out at the Riverside seminar on May 11. Thank you
Dr. Jim Baird for assisting us and for UC Riverside for hosting us. We
also had a great session at the San Diego seminar on May 12. Thank you
Mike Tarantino for your assistance and to Poway USD for hosting us. To
those who couldn't make it, do not miss our next seminar series. You can

AFCG is pleased to introduce our new partners and invite you to view their page to learn more about them. QKA is an architectural firm in Santa Rosa with over 25 years of experience. KISSS is an innovative irrigation system company out of Longmont, CO. We also welcome Shaw Sportexe based in Georgia specializing in synthetic turf.
We are also happy to announce that our May 5 seminar at River Cats Stadium (Raley Field) was a success. We had 14 attendees at the seminar from 7 different organizations. A big thanks for our guest speakers, Mark Lucas from UC Davis and Chris Ralston from Raley Field who gave us a tour of the facility.

The seminar on May 11 has been moved to UC Riverside. Dr. Jim Baird, a
turfgrass specialist for the University will also be speaking at the
seminar. Mike Tarantino of Poway USD will be speaking at the May 12

Our next seminar will be on March 9, 2011 hosted by Santa Ana Unified
School District. Topic of the seminar will be living turf and synthetic
turf. Cost is $35 per person and $30 for each additional person from the
same organization. This includes a continental breakfast and light

AFCG will be the featured presenter at the Los Angeles County Facilities
Network Meeting on March 10, 2011 from 9 am to 12 pm. The meeting takes
place at the Los Angeles County Office of Education Center.

Paramount USD will be hosting our next workshop on January 26, 2011.
Topic of discussion will be understanding and how to take care of
